§ 01 —— WHAT WE MAKE
Four kinds of job
A deep cut is made in several passes. We will give you the exact depth and time from your drawing.
Stamps and seals
An impression with a clean edge: not only the depth matters but also how vertical the wall of the relief is.
Marking stamps, punches, matrices
Tooling and parts
Relief marking that still reads after the surface has worn or been painted over. For production this is the only dependable option.
Moulds, load-bearing parts, tools
Decorative relief
Three-dimensional engraving where what is wanted is not a mark but a texture: crests, monograms, appliqués, decorative panels.

On request we sign a non-disclosure agreement — for tooling and parts this is normal practice, and the request may be in free form.
Before we hand over the die we take a trial impression on your material — that shows whether we have hit the required depth.
We do not apply or restore the factory serial numbers of luxury brands on copies of their products. We do not work with PVC or vinyl.

What production engineers ask
How does 3D differ from ordinary engraving? −
Ordinary engraving changes the colour of the surface; 3D removes material to a depth, producing a genuine relief you can feel with your finger. It is needed wherever the impression has to transfer onto another material.
Can you make a die for embossing leather? −
Yes, it is one of our standard jobs: brass or steel, with the depth matched to your press. Tell us the material to be embossed — the relief depends on it.
What is the maximum depth? −
It depends on the material and the edge definition required. We will give you an exact figure from your drawing — a deep cut is made in several passes.
Do you need a drawing, or is a picture enough? −
For dies and stamps a drawing or a vector with the depth specified is better. We can work from a picture, but agreeing the geometry will take longer.
Do you take firearm parts and tooling? −
Parts and tooling — yes. We do not apply or restore brands’ factory serial numbers on replica items.
Will you sign an NDA? −
Yes, we work to drawings under an NDA — a free-form request is enough.
