Where wraparound work matters most
How much text will fit depends on the diameter. On a travel mug that is usually a phrase of 40–60 characters at a readable type size.
Rings and bracelets
A date or a phrase around the inside of the ring. Jewellery-grade micro-engraving with minimal metal removal.
Gold, silver, titanium, steel
Glasses and hip flasks
On glass — an even matt frosting all the way round with no chipping at the rim. On a hip flask — a contrasting anneal.

What people ask about wraparound work
What does “seamless” mean? −
A rotary chuck turns the item in sync with the beam, so the inscription runs continuously all the way round. With ordinary engraving a step is visible where the ends meet; here there is none.
Can you do it on any cylinder? −
We need an even circumference with no abrupt changes in diameter. Vacuum flasks, glasses, hip flasks, rings, tubes and pen barrels — yes. For a cone or a complex shape, send a photo and we will take a look.
How much text will fit around the circumference? −
It depends on the diameter. On a travel mug it is usually a phrase of 40–60 characters at a legible type size. We will give you an exact figure once we see the item.
Can you engrave inside a ring as well? −
Yes, inside-ring engraving is a common job in its own right. Fine jewellery-grade micro-cutting with minimal metal removal.
Is it dearer than an ordinary inscription? −
Yes: 120–200 thousand against 80 thousand. Working around the circumference calls for tooling and a longer set-up.
